Hans was born in Edmonds, Washington, and moved to Olympia soon after where he spent the majority of his “growing-up” years attending Evergreen Christian School and Capital High School. Soon after High School, Hans married his high school sweetheart Meg, joined the U.S. Army and moved to Germany. Through several twists and turns Hans and Meg landed back in Olympia at the end of 1997. Looking for a home church Hans and Meg visited South Sound and three weeks later took over the Junior High program. Just a few twists and turns later they answered the call to lead the student and emerging ministries at South Sound. Hans and Meg stay busy with their two sons Lincoln and TJ. Hans enjoys drawing, reading and singing as well as road and mountain bicycling. He seeks to set a relevant Christ centered example and lead our student and emerging ministry teams with a servant’s heart. |
