Our team is excited to offer the kidTOUGH children’s curriculum as our elementary children’s ministry. Based on 5 traits TRUST, OBEY, UNITE, GROW and HONOR. We will incorporate game time, exciting teaching, small group interaction and worship to give your child a deep and well rounded experience.
We are excited about giving the kids a meaningful experience. We will be working on finding our verses on our own in the Bible, and reinforcing the Bible through various means. The story teller will engage the children through both a story and interactive experiences. The small groups will immediately reinforce what has been taught with questions, both serious and fun.
The children are given a Bible when they first attend kidTOUGH. We encourage them to bring them each week. We will be using them and getting to know them well.
We are learning about tithes and offering as well. We will be encouraging your children to contribute to tithes from money they earn. Systematic giving, as well as spontaneous offering over and above tithes are important Biblical principles to instill while they are young, to that end we will collect an offering each week.
Tickets can be earned for Ms. Laura’s store, tickets will be the responsibility of your children to keep. They are given an envelope with their Bibles. They will earn tickets in various ways, they will get them for participation and good behavior in class each day. They will also be mailed a card with challenges on it, relating to the trait, if they return that they will be given tickets. Some weeks a child may not get a ticket, it is not “everyone gets a trophy” here. We just let them know that they can try harder next week. The small group leaders will be working with the kids so that they all learn to participate and behave appropriately, and I am sure they will all be happy. We will shop on months with 5 Sunday’s. Ms. Laura’s store is stocked with prizes from stickers to DVD’s and is something the kids look forward to.

Ticket Opportunities - How to Win Tickets
1 ticket: each week you show up and participate to the best of your ability.
2 tickets: bring a friend, or memorize a Bible verse.
10 tickets: The Lord's Prayer or New Testament books of the Bible or have a birthday or bring a friend to Wednesday night!
15 tickets: Old Testament books of the Bible or the 23rd Psalm
Bonus Opportunities (15 tickets) by participating in extra activities, i.e. fun fair, musical egg hunt.
