Introducing South Sound Community Church

The South Sound Vision

To be a place filled with grace giving people where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.

To be able to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with thousands of the residents of the South Sound area.

To welcome members into the fellowship of our church family -- loving, learning, laughing, and living in harmony together.

To be a place where people are developed to spiritual maturity thorugh Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and a Bible school.

To be an equipping center where poeple are equipped for significant ministries by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them. In so doing, they will then be able to carry out the ministry of the kingdom.

To be a sending agent where people will be sent out into full-time ministry and missions int eh world. Also, we as a church will be involved in short-term mission projects here in the US and around the world.

To have a facility with a worship center, an educational facility for teaching and training, and a family life center for the fellowship and recreational areas of the church. In so doing, being able tot minister to the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of the body.

Mission Statement

To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God's name.
